
The Western North Carolina woman wanted in connection to her mother's murder, is now in custody.
As we previously reported, the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office responded to Clark's Crossing Way for a welfare check and found a woman dead. The victim was identified as 63 year old, Lori Pallinger.
A search then began for Pallinger's daughter, Danya Kathryn Dewey. She was located and arrested, Friday morning. Dewey is charged with 1st degree murder.
The Sheriff's Office has not released any details on the cause of death or the motivation for the murder, as of the time of this report.
