A woman is facing charges after a teenager with special needs died in Myrtle Beach, last week. Officials say 14 year old, Neveah Neely died at a hospital after drowning in the pool at the Sandbar Hotel, last Thursday.
The teenager reportedly had autism and was non-verbal and was left with her three younger siblings. 32 year old, Brittany Neely is accused of leaving the girl with a sibling near the pool, knowing the teenager couldn't swim.
Brittany Neely is charged with four counts of unlawful conduct toward a child. Arrest warrants did not state what the relationship is between the two, but Brittney is presumed to be the girl's mother.
