A woman is facing charges after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend to death. Police say the suspect 19 year old, Renatta Flores-Sanchez called 9-1-1 and admitted to stabbing her boyfriend multiple times.
The Spartanburg Police Department then responded to their home on Logan Street, around 10:30 AM, Tuesday. When officers arrived the victim was found inside a bedroom of the home with multiple stab wounds. The victim has been identified as 28 year old Jose Vizcaya. Arrest warrants say he was also strangled with some sort of cord.
Flores-Sanchez is charged with murder and a weapons violation. She has initially been denied bond and is being held in Spartanburg County.
