A pedestrian is dead after being hit by an SUV in the Upstate , over the weekend. The collision happened on Gentry Memorial Highway in Easley, around 2:30 PM, Saturday.
The Pickens County Coroner's Office says a woman was walking in the roadway when she was hit by a Jeep SUV and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has been identified as 49 year old, Adela Aguilar of Easley. The crash remains under investigation by the Coroner's Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
