A suspect charged in the beating death of a Chester County woman two years ago pleaded guilty Monday. The Chester County Sheriff's Office accuses suspects George Linwood Faile of Lancaster and Amber Nicole Harris of killing 63 year old, Linda Robinson in August of 2021.
Investigators claim that Robinson was acting as a "Good Samaritan" and picked up Faile and Harris after their car broke down. The three ended up on Carpenter Road and Robinson's body was left in that area after she was beaten to death.
Faile is still awaiting trial on charges related to his role in the death. On Monday, Amber Nicole Harris entered guilty pleas to charges of voluntary manslaughter and carjacking.
Harris was sentenced to consecutive 30 year prison terms for those charges.
