A woman who was wielding a knife in the parking lot of an Upstate fast food restaurant has been arrested. The Union Police Department says the incident happened earlier this month in the parking lot of the KFC.
A woman was parked in her vehicle with a child in the car and another woman then pulled up and reached through the victim's window and pressed a knife against her throat and threatened to kill her.
The suspect Shaketta Shaw fled the scene originally, however she was taken into custody this past Friday. Shaw is charged with 1st degree assault. Police have not released any details on a possible motive in the incident.
