A dozen people were injured in a shooting at a Midlands mall over the weekend. Shots were fired at the Columbiana Centre Mall in Columbia Saturday. 10 people were injured after being hit with gunfire and two more suffered other injuries.
Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook said " We don't believe this was random. We believe the three knew each other and something led to the gunfire".
No deaths were reported in the shooting, but eight of the victims were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries. Of those eight, six were said to be in stable condition with two others in critical condition. Chief Holbrook says the ages of the victims ranged between 15 and 73 years of age.
