An armed and dangerous wanted suspect is now behind bars after being apprehended in the Low Country. The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office says 24 year old, Charles Edward Britt was taken into custody after a search for him that began last Wednesday.
Britt was found at the Francis Marion National Forest around 2AM this Monday morning. Deputies says Britt had guns and ammo on him at the time he was taken into custody.
Britt was wanted for attempted murder, armed robbery and various other charges. The Sheriff's Office says additional charges stemming from this arrest are expected
