An associate of embroiled former attorney Alex Murdaugh has been indicted. The South Carolina Attorney General's Office has announced the indictment of 53 year old, Corey Howerton Fleming on a list of 18 charges in association with the case against Murdaugh.
Fleming was suspended from practicing law last October but had not been indicted until now. Four new charges have been announced against Murdaugh which brings the total number of charges against the former Lowcountry litigator to 75 on 15 indictments. The State Grand Jury Investigation is being conducted by the State Attorney General's Office, SLED, the FBI and the U.S. Attorney's Office.
