A child is dead and a woman is in custody after a house fire. The York County incident killed the child and led to charges against the mother. 30 year old, Laquita Henderson of Rock Hill is charged 2nd degree arson.
An investigation determined Henderson set fire to her residence Thursday morning. Police and fire personnel found the infant in the home. The child later died after being taken to the hospital.
