Ralph Norman was a guest on the Charlie James show earlier this afternoon to discuss the controversy surrounding a recently released text message he made on January 6th of last year.
South Carolina Congressman Ralph Norman is under scrutiny following the leaking of a text message he sent on January 6th of last year to at-the-time President Donald Trump's chief of staff, Mark Meadows, asking him to urge the then-president to declare Marshall Law.
The text to the chief of staff in its entirety read "Mark, in seeing what's happening so quickly, and reading about the Dominion law suits attempting to stop any meaningful investigation we are at a point of no return in saving our Republic !! Our LAST HOPE is invoking Marshall Law!! PLEASE URGE TO PRESIDENT TO DO SO!!"
Norman was a guest on the Charlie James Show Wednesday afternoon, where he defended his message, saying it was a private text, not a direct call to the President.
"It was a private text to Mark Meadows," he said. "I didn't send it to the networks. I didn't send it to Fox News, ABC, NBC. It was a private text, and I was very frustrated. And to be honest, I'm still frustrated over what's taking place with the way some states have added days to voting."
He continued that no text messages from the same day have been leaked from Democrats.
