Third District Congresswoman Sherri Biggs announced her first annual signature event, Salute To Liberty. The family-friendly event celebrating freedom, service and American exceptionalism will be held Monday, August 18 at the Anderson Sports & Entertainment Center in Anderson.
“Salute to Liberty is not about me – it is about the brave men and women who put on a uniform, those who serve their neighbors, and patriots who believe in America’s greatness,” said Congresswoman Biggs. “I am excited to present this event and reaffirm that liberty is worth celebrating, defending, and passing on to the next generation. I invite all families, friends, and neighbors to join me for a memorable evening on Monday, August 18!”
The keynote speaker and other guests will be announced later.
This event is a fund raiser similar to the event the previous Third District Republican Representative, Jeff Duncan, held for years in Anderson.
According to the event website, tickets for Veterans and First Responders are $1 and General Admission tickets start at $32.75, which includes a meal.
