Go Raw LLC first announced a recall in early February for one lot of its Quest chicken recipe freeze-dried nuggets. The company says the product may contain low levels of thiamine — also known as vitamin B1.

Now, that recall has grown. Two lots of Quest’s frozen chicken recipe cat food are also being pulled for the same reason.

Thiamine is essential for cats, and a deficiency can lead to serious health problems. The affected products were sold in 21 states, including South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia.

According to the FDA, Go Raw has stopped the sale of all Quest products at all retailers until the issue of thiamine content in the products is addressed. Click HERE to be directed to the Company announcement and contact information.
