(Associated Press)- Authorities say four people have died after a car crashed into a stopped train at a crossing in South Carolina. Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken says, the vehicle appeared to be speeding and going around the crossing arms, which were down when it slammed into the CSX train Saturday night.

Investigators say a fifth person in the vehicle survived the fiery crash, but authorities did not release any additional information. No one on the CSX train was hurt. The coroner identified the dead as 34-year-old Mitchell Carter II; 40-year-old Jeneka Carter; and 46-year-old Antoine Hines, all of Florence and 27-year-old Ruby Taylor, of Hartsville.
