A gruesome discovery was made at a foreign airport after the search of a package bound for South Carolina. What are believed to be human remains were found at an airport in Mexico City.
Four skulls that were scheduled to be sent here to the Palmetto State, were found after a package was searched. Mexican officials say, the package was registered to a courier company but did not have the required documentation to support the shipment.
A guard at the airport reported that an X-ray machine detected abnormal organic material. Upon further investigation authorities found four skulls in the box wrapped in plastic and aluminum foil.
The package was set to be shipped to an address in Manning, South Carolina, a small town in the state's Pee Dee Area. The Attorney General's Office in Mexico says, the discovery is under further investigation.
