
The State Department of Juvenile Justice officially has a new leader. Governor McMaster introduced Eden Hendrick as the new Executive Director of the agency Thursday. Hendrick was named the interim Director of the DJJ last September following the resignation of former Director Freddie Pough.
Hendrick is a University Of Georgia alumnus, who graduated from the University Of South Carolina Law School in 2005. She received the Fritz Hollings Award For Excellence In State Family Court Prosecution in 2016. Hendrick is set officially take office following confirmation by the State Senate"
