Valdosta Georgia Police continue to search for a hit and run suspect after a high school football player was killed while tending to an injured dog.
According to Valdosta Police, 16 year old Samuel Johnson Jr. was helping the dog Saturday evening on a Perimeter Road in Valdosta when he was truck and killed. The driver of vehicle did not stop.
Tuesday, Investigators said they found the suspect's vehicle, a Dodge Charger and impounded it. No other information about an arrest has been released.
Samuel Johnson Jr. was an offensive linebacker for the Valdosta Wildcats football team.
