In-state university rebranding, changing logo

A rebranding is set for a major in-state university. The University of South Carolina has announced, it is dropping the "of" from the "UofSC" logo. The school says, it will once again be referred to as USC.

The change comes three years after the school adopted the "UofSC" logo in 2019. University Board Of Trustees Chairman, Thad Westbrook said in a press release, that the trustees strongly support the change.

Westbrook added " Our alumni and stake holders have overwhelmingly stated their strong desire to return to the USC name and tradition".
