Inflation impacting cost of the Big Mac in SC and nationwide

Examples of inflation impacting South Carolinians can be found just about everywhere. Even in the cost of fast food here in-state and nationwide reflect the rising costs of living.

Recent data from the Daily Mail compared the cost of a McDonald's Big Mac in every state. The average costs if a Big Mac in the Palmetto State is $4.11 . That's lower than neighboring states, Georgia and North Carolina who are both at $4.15.

Mississippi is the lowest in the country at $3.91 with Arkansas and Alabama coming in at $3.95 and $3.99. The most costly Big Mac's can be found in Hawaii at $5.31 , New York is next at $5.23 and California at $5.11 .

The Daily Mail says the Big Mac's cost has skyrocketed 125% over the last 27 years.
