A low country woman is three hundred thousand dollars richer thanks to the South Carolina Education Lottery. The woman who has not been identified, won on a $10 scratch off ticket.
She purchased the ticket from the Market On Main in Harleyville, which is about 45 miles northwest of Charleston. The woman checked her ticket while on lunch break and went back to work after she realized she won. She is still working after her big win and reportedly bought a house with her prize money.
