A South Carolina teenager is awaiting extradition from Florida accused of murdering two other teens in Berkeley County. The identity of the 17 year old suspect from Ladson, South Carolina, is withheld for now but authorities say he will be tried as an adult. In the shooting deaths of an 18 year old from Goose Creek who died in the emergency room the night of March 2nd. The other victim was 15 years old and died of his wounds the next day.
The U.S. Marshal's office and a regional fugitive task force arrested the young suspect at a Florida resort. Warrants from Berkeley County will charge him with two counts of murder and possession of a weapon in a violent crime. There are details at this point on a motive or what led to the gunfire.
