A Midlands woman is in custody charged with murder after fatally shooting her former boyfriend. The Sumter Police Department responded to a reported shooting at a home there around 630, Sunday morning.
Upon arrival, they found a man on the floor suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died. The deceased has been identified as 34 year old, Antoine Pugh.
Police say the suspect 23 year old Jasmine Symone Woods was found inside the home She's charged with murder following the shooting.
Investigators say the two had been in a relationship but were estranged and lived at two different addresses.
