Columbia, SC – During a press conference at the South Carolina Republican Party Headquarters, Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo endorsed South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster and Lt. Governor Pamela Evette for reelection.
On his endorsement, Pompeo said, "I'm proud to endorse my friend, Governor Henry McMaster." He continued, " Governor McMaster built an economy in South Carolina that benefited all South Carolinians. Henry understands that protecting life, from the moment of conception, is noble and right, and he has fought tirelessly to defend the sanctity of life. He has truly made the Palmetto state a great place to live and to visit."
Governor Henry McMaster said, “Mike has defended our American values at home and abroad, and he’s someone you want in your corner. Together, we’ll fight to protect what makes South Carolina and our nation so exceptional.”
Lt. Governor Pamela Evette said, "In his service, Secretary Pompeo helped make our allies our friends again and our enemies fear us." She continued, We are grateful for Mike's support and welcome him to South Carolina."
