US Representative from South Carolina Nancy Mace joined the Charlie James Show Thursday afternoon to discuss the empty House Speaker seat.
Nancy Mace was one of only eight Republicans, and the only one from South Carolina, to vote to historically oust Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House earlier this week.
She explained that “broken promises” was the main reason for her vote, specifically pointing to the former Speaker’s duties to the American people.
The vote to remove McCarthy was the first time a House Speaker has been voted out of their position in US history.
