A man who's accused of killing his wife with eye drops, has landed himself back in jail as charges continue to rack up.
A tale that certainly would qualify to be featured on an episode of "Dateline" is unfolding just up the road in Mount Holly, NC.
Joshua Lee Hunsucker, accused of killing his wife in 2018 for life insurance money, is now accused of trying to kill his daughter and harassing his in-laws. Hunsucker gave his wife deadly amounts of tetrahydrozoline which resulted in her death from cardiac arrest, according to Officials. He was arrested but released after meeting a $1.5 million bond.

Reports now say in February of 2023, he used the same method to try and kill his 11 year old daughter. She received emergency treatment in the hospital.
In between those alleged crimes, Hunsucker also stands accused of starting a fire in a medical helicopter mid-flight while working as a paramedic in 2019, staging his own kidnapping and harassing his deceased wife's parents.
On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, he was arrested and charged with 4 counts each of intimidation and obstruction of justice.
Hunsucker's next court date is scheduled for December 26, 2024.
The case involving his wife's death has yet to go to trial.
