The pilot of a small plane was taken to the hospital after his aircraft crashed at Owens Field Airport in Columbia. The Columbia Police Dept. says they responded to a call for assistance around 11:30 Thursday morning.
The pilot was reportedly the only passenger on the plane. The Police Department says the FAA has been notified.
