Federal authorities have launched an investigation following a plane crash in York County. A small aircraft crashed around 7:30 Friday night behind the American Legion Post on Heckle Blvd near Rock Hill. WRHI in York County is reporting that the pilot died in the crash.
The pilot was the only person on board the plane, which was flying from the Lagrange Georgia area to Rock Hill. The FAA and NTSB are investigating the crash. The FAA and NTSB is investigating the crash, there’s been no word yet on what led to the crash.
