The South Carolina Statewide Primary is June 11, 2024.
The Republican and Democratic Parties are holding Primaries.
Registered Voters can vote in either Primary, but not both.
Early Voting begins May 28, 2024 for the June Primary. (more information below)

Here is what to expect on the ballot:

U.S. House of Representatives
District 4 - Greenville and Spartanburg Counties
Republican Ballot:
* R - William Timmons (Incumbent)
* R - Adam Morgan
Democratic Ballot:
* D - Kathryn Harvey (Unopposed)
Note: Unopposed Primary candidates will not appear on your ballot

Results: William Timmons and Adam Morgan remain neck-and-neck as vote counts continue to trickle in.

District 3 - Anderson, Pickens, Oconee, Laurens, Abbeville, Greenwood, McCormick, Edgefield, Saluda and Newberry Counties
Republican Ballot:
* R - Sherri Biggs
* R - Kevin Bishop
* R - Mark Burns
* R - Franky Franco
* R - Philip Healy
* R - Stewart Jones
* R - Elspeth Snow Murday
Democratic Ballot:
* D - Bryon Best
* D - Francis Guldner

Results - Sherri Biggs and Mark Burns are heading into a runoff with roughly 30% of the vote each, with Stewart Jones not quite making the cut with roughly 20% of the vote.

District 5 - Cherokee, Union, York, Chester, Fairfield, Lancaster, Kershaw, Sumter and Lee Counties
Republican Ballot:
* R - Ralph Norman (Unopposed Incumbent)
Democratic Ballot:
* D - Evangeline Hundley (Unopposed)
Note: Unopposed Primary candidates will not appear on your ballot

District 1 - Berkley, Charleston and Beaufort Counties
District 2 - Richland, Lexington, Aiken and Barnwell Counties
District 6 - Calhoun, Clarendon, Williamsburg, Orangeburg, Dorchester, Colleton, Bamberg, Allendale, Hampton and Jasper Counties
District 7 - Chesterfield, Marlboro, Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Marion, Horry and Georgetown Counties

* R - Richard Cash (Incumbent running unopposed)
Democratic Ballot:
* D - Jessicka Spearman (Unopposed)

S.C. House of Representatives (Democratic primary cancelled for Districts 4 and 5)

* R - Neal Collins (Incumbent)
* R - Brandy Tarleton

Results: In District 3, Phillip Bowers manages to take to win over incumbent Jerry Carter with roughly 54% of the vote. In District 5, incumbent Neal Collins wins the nomination over Brandy Tarleton with roughly 55% of the vote.

In-person voting. Polls open from 7:00a-7:00p

In order to vote, you must be a registered to vote in South Carolina. Check your voter status at scvotes.gov.

Be prepared to bring a photo ID in order to vote. Photo ID's can be:
- Valid driver's license
- ID card issued by the SC Department of Motor Vehicles
- Voter registration card with photo
- Federal Military ID
- US Passport

October 21 - November 2, 2024
Early Voting for General Election
(Closed Sunday, October 27)
Early voting at county voter registration offices and other early voting centers 8:30a-6:00p Monday through Saturday

November 5, 2024
General Election Day
In-person voting. Polls open from 7:00a-7:00p
