A wave of gun violence hit Savannah, Georgia over the weekend. Police there responded to a report of shots fired in the Ellis Square area of the city, late Saturday night.
Upon arrival, officers found 11 people that had been injured in the shooting. All of those victims were adults and we transported to the hospital for treatment. Investigators say, an argument between two women spilled into Ellis Square and shots then rang out.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance video from the scene, no arrests have been announced, as of the time of this report.
Sunday afternoon officials said there had been 14 people injured and two killed in separate shootings around the city on just Friday and Saturday alone.
