A reward has been offered for information that leads to the capture of a convicted killer, who was released from prison early and now has been ordered to return.

As we previously reported, the South Carolina Supreme Court ruled to send Jeroid Price back to prison, earlier this week. Price was released 16 years early due to his cooperation with law enforcement. An order from Judge Casey Manning, that has recently been unsealed revealed that information.

Price was serving 35 years for the murder of former Gamecock Football player Carl Smalls Jr. at a Columbia nightclub in 2002. On Wednesday, the state's high court voted 3-2 to vacate the order of Price's release.

On Thursday, SLED and the Richland County Sheriff's Office made statements asking Price to immediately surrender. Now, a reward of $5,000 has been offered for information leading to his arrest.
