The conflict with Iran has diverted an air show in the Palmetto State. The 2026 Charleston Airshow originally scheduled for May 2 & 3, will be transitioned to a single-day harbor-front event on Saturday May 2.

Officials say Joint Base Charleston made the decision to scale back the event due to increased operational requirements, for what were called current global events. The one-day off-base event will still feature the US Navy Blue Angels and an F-16 Demo team and will take place over the Charleston Harbor, South of the Cooper River Bridge between downtown Charleston & Mt Pleasant.

No passes are required and those that purchased premium tickets will be able to get refunds. For more information go to airshowcharleston.com.
