With hurricane season underway, state agencies are working to prepare themselves in case of emergency situations. The SCDOT is among those agencies and will be participating in a Hurricane Evacuation Drill Thursday.

Crews will rehearse the placement of traffic control devices needed to execute lane reversals, just like they would in a real evacuation. The drills will be mostly held on the state's coast line which is the greatest area of Hurricane impact.
