A U.S. Army soldier who was reported missing Monday has been found. Officials from Fort Jackson in Columbia say, that Staff Sergeant Jamie Contreras was reported missing around 1:30 PM, when he did not return from a land navigation exercise.
Generally, personnel on those exercises leave out around 10 AM and return at 1 PM. WIS-TV in Columbia reported Tuesday morning that Contreras, who's a Drill Sergeant Candidate, had been found. No further details have been released by military officials, including the condition Contreras was found in.
