GREENVILLE, SC, August 28, 2026 – Team members at North American Rescue (NAR), a South Carolina-based provider of casualty-care and survivability solutions for military and first responders, and a subsidiary of Henry Schein, Inc., recently packed more than 180 backpacks filled with school supplies to help make the first day of school enjoyable and stress-free for local children.
As part of Henry Schein’s “Back to School” program, NAR donated the backpacks, filled with pens, pencils, and notebooks, to children across the six Greenville County Recreation Division Summer Camp community centers, including Brutontown, Berea, Freetown, Mt. Pleasant, Sterling, and Staunton Bridge. With a holistic approach to health and well-being, the summer camps help young children build independence, confidence, and lasting friendships through recreation.
Since its inception, Henry Schein’s "Back to School" program has allowed Team Schein Members to make a difference through hands-on volunteerism. Over the years, the program has grown to a global scale, benefiting more than 80,000 children across the communities Henry Schein serves. This year’s event was especially significant as Henry Schein is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Henry Schein Cares, the Company’s global corporate citizenship program.
