With no candidate reaching 50% of the vote, the Spartanburg Sheriff special primary election will be heading to a runoff in two weeks on Tuesday, August 19th between Rusty Clevenger and Bill Rhyne.

• Rusty Clevenger (R) - 25.63% of the vote
• Adam Crisp (R) - 6.42% of the vote
• Nick Duncan (R) - 7.62% of the vote
• Randy Hollifield (R) - 4.98% of the vote
• Joseph A. Pilato (R) - 3.73% of the vote
• Bill Rhyne (R) - 28.28% of the vote
• Richard "Ric" Stephens (R) - 3.16% of the vote
