The suspect accused of shooting at officers in Myrtle Beach Tuesday has now been identified. 45 year old, William Berry Hodges of Myrtle Beach was arrested Tuesday after a confrontation with police, in a residential area.

The standoff started around 9 AM Tuesday and the FBI was called into assist. Hodges barricaded himself inside a home and at one point the home was on fire. Police say, Hodges fired at officers, luckily none were injured.
Hodges surrendered and was taken to an area hospital after the standoff lasted several hours.
