One teenager is in custody and another is wounded after a stabbing in the Midlands. The Richland County Sheriff's Department responded to a reported shooting at a home in Columbia around 6PM, Tuesday night.
When Deputies arrived, a 15 year old victim was found suffering from a stab wound. The suspect, a 14 year old juvenile had fled the scene, but was later located at their home.
Investigators say a fight between the teenagers broke out at the victim's home and the 14 year old grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim.
The suspect was transferred to the Department of Juvenile Justice on charges of aggravated assault and a weapons violation.
