Two suspects are now in custody months after a teenager was fatally shot in the Midlands. As we previously reported, 16 year old Julian Keel was shot and killed at a graduation party in Columbia in June.
Keel was said to have been a bystander at the parking lot venue that hosted the party. On Wednesday, Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook announced that 20 year old, Tonie Wilson and a 16 year old suspect have been taken into custody. They are charged with murder.
Keel's family is filing suit against the company that hosted the party. They claim the company failed to implement basic safety precautions.
