The all clear has officially been given following the search for a person of interest in a shots fired incident early Monday afternoon on the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill campus.
The 720-acre campus was put under lockdown following the incident just after 1pm, and everyone on campus was urged to remain inside and avoid windows.
A photo of the person of interest, an unidentified Asian man wearing a grey shirt, was later released just after 2:30.
A little before 4pm, the all clear was given for the campus.
Authorities later confirmed the person of interest was in custody, and one faculty member was reported dead from the shooting.
