
Vice President Kamala Harris is set to return to the Palmetto State this week. She will be at South Carolina State University in Orangeburg to speak to students Tuesday , which coincides with National Voter Registration Day.

Harris is set to be joined by Miguel Cardona, the U.S. Secretary Of Education. He is making his second trip to South Carolina in as many months. The visit from Harris comes less than 50 days prior to the midterm elections in November.
The visit will be the third time Harris has visited South Carolina since becoming Vice President and her second trip this year. During the summer, she spoke at the Blue Palmetto Dinner in Columbia.
