A well known amusement park is not amused with recent behavior from underaged guests. Officials at Carowinds say, incidents of unruly behavior by several groups of kids happened there over the weekend. The park also says, there were false reports of shots fired during the weekend incident.
Underaged guests reportedly began running and creaming claiming someone had a gun. The park says, those claims were unsubstantiated, but did lead to a search helicopter flying over the park. The incident led to the park closing early Saturday night.
Carowinds now says, it is implementing a chaperone policy for underaged guests and adding other security protocols.
