Papa is a rolling stone.

But just because he’s a rock god doesn’t mean Mick Jagger is any less dorky than the next dad.

With eight kids, The Rolling Stones frontman is just like all parents, posting embarrassing comments on social media and using weird gadgets in public.

Everyone knows Mick the rock star but less people know Mick the prodigal father. These are six times Mick Jagger was such a dad.

When he used these tiny binoculars at a soccer game.

Dad these seats are awesome but do you really have to use those? Mick must have just walked out of Brookstone feeling like James Bond before using these tiny binoculars at a 2016 soccer match between England and Russia. His son Lucas is sitting next to him, with a look on his face that says "I hope no one is seeing this."

When he was super tired and didn't care who knew it.

This one can also be filed under the "I Hope No One's Looking" category. The animated, uncovered yawn is a classic embarrassing dad-in-public move. Jagger's son Lucas isn't even acknowledging this one, opting to keep his eyes on the field.

When he saved a hectic family pic.

Every parent knows that sometimes, you're just not getting that perfect family photo so you might as well smile through the chaos. That's what Mick did in this picture posted by his daughter last year for his birthday, where he was cheesing while all his sons -- James, Gabriel, Lucas and baby Deveraux -- were freaking out.

When he ruined a sweet family pic.

Sometimes dad powers through the not-so-great family photo. Other times, he photobombs what could have been one for the ages in the family album. In this pic with his former wife Jerry Hall and their two children, James and Elizabeth, Mick's letting the little kid in him come out and spazzing for the photo.

When he got the family together for a Proud Dad pic.

Actually, this photo was more of a Proud of Dad moment. Taken at his 2003 knighthood coronation ceremony, the moment is celebrating him. But with his arms around his own father Joe and two daughters Karis and Elizabeth, Mick is making it all about the family and turning it into what looks like a graduation photo.

My new favorite thing is Mick Jagger leaving dorky dad comments on his teenage son's Instagram posts. pic.twitter.com/DFEmgwxKp4

When he was dorking out in the comments on his son's Instagram.

Jagger made the rounds when he got active in his son Lucas’s comments section on Instagram. With messages that sound like he just got his first smart phone -- including “Watch out for the water,” “Cool pic,” and “Looks like fun. Ha!” -- it’s hard to tell if Mick was trolling, or genuinely enjoying pics of his son’s weekend cabin trip.
