"It's been such an incredible time leading into this new album, and seeing all the support from everyone has been beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of.," Capaldi said in a lengthy explanation shared on social media, while acknowledging he has been "full on" both mentally and physically the last few months and is in need of some rest and relaxation before taking the Glastonbury stage later this month.

In his post, Lewis also apologized to fans who had purchased tickets and made travel arrangements for his now-canceled shows, explained that he is receiving help and support from those around him, and is looking forward to being back on stage real soon. Read Lewis' full message below.
