A recent survey of the HuffPost Parents group on Facebook found the most hilarious names their children gave to everyday items.

Honestly, some of these terms are WAY better than the original names and need to be changed immediately! Some of the funniest terms include:

1. "My daughter used to call heads of lettuce 'salad balls.'"

2.  "Our oldest used to call pants 'leg prisons.'"

3.  "Restaurants are called 'food houses,' and McDonald's is called 'Old McDonald's.'"

4.  "A boy I babysat called lasagna 'spaghetti cake.'"

5.  "When my son was little, he called bras 'boobie pants.'"

6.  "My daughter calls hard taco shells 'crunchy buns.'"

7.  "My son screamed at the store that he wanted 'butt cakes.'  He meant cupcakes."

8.  "My daughter told me that women carry babies in their 'universe.'"

9.  "My almost three-year-old calls the bathroom fan the 'poop wind.'"

10. "My three-year-old son calls mustard 'hot dog syrup.'"
