There's nothing complicated about it... Avril Lavigne is continuing her celebration of 20 years on the scene, and her most recent music under the helm of Travis Barker, with a new, Punk-infused cover shoot for Harper's BAZAAR Việt Nam.
Now 37-years-old, Avril, looking as if she hasn't aged a day since back when she was searching for the perfect "Sk8er Boi,” shared some of the photos included in the magazine’s cover piece on Instagram. Lavigne rocks a number of outfits, one of which is composed of all white feathers, a pair of undone white combat boots, and... well, that’s it. More looks can be found within the magazine's article, which details the singer's impeccable style and outstanding musical career over the past two decades.
Even more exciting... Avril captioned the post, "Who wants a new song this week?" Now, let's see a show of hands.
Already highlighted as one of the most anticipated albums of the year, a new record was expected sooner rather than later from Lavigne, now calling Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker's DTA Records her home. She's already offered up a few tastes of what fans can expect -- so this tease of something just around the corner certainly had everyone vibrating again.
And now, it's official! Lavigne's upcoming album, Love Sux, is set to hit shelves and streaming services on February 25, and will feature guest appearances by blink-182‘s Mark Hoppus and MGK! Avril also revealed her new track, "Love It When You Hate Me" featuring blackbear, will be out on January 15. Check out the Love Sux tracklist below.
2. “Bois Lie” (feat. Machine Gun Kelly)
3. “Bite Me”
4. “I Love It When You Hate Me” (feat. blackbear)
5. “Love Sux”
6. “Kiss Me Like The World Is Ending”
8. “Déjà Vu”
10. “All I Wanted” (feat. Mark Hoppus)

Lavigne, who has most recently been romantically linked to fellow artist MOD SUN, is also planning to turn her 2002 hit single, "Sk8er Boi," into a movie along the lines of Machine Gun Kelly's Downfalls High, and another project that her beau and Kelly have been putting the final touches on. Lot's of Lavigne to look forward to in 2022!
