Back in February, the world was first introduced to the collaboration between Crocs and KFC. The line of fried chicken footwear quickly went viral, as many were hoping to get their feet in a pair of KFC Crocs. Now, those shoes are ready to make their official debut, as they will go on sale for the first time on July 28.
The Crocs and KFC collaboration was first introduced during New York Fashion Week, and starting next week, they will be available for purchase on the Crocs website. The limited edition shoes will be sold for $59.99 and are not expected to last long. The shoes also come with two Croc “Jibbitz” charms, that supposedly look and smell like fried chicken drumsticks.
Crocs have had a number of viral collaborations recently, but none as surprising as the new KFC version of their shoes. As food becomes more a part of pop culture, more fast food clothing should be expected in the future. Now fast food lovers will just have to wait to see which big name brands decide to collaborate next.
