There are plenty of crossover fans between My Chemical Romance and Metallica, but most wouldn’t think to put the two groups together. Still, one fan made the attempt with a mash up song that has since gone viral. The song features one of each band’s biggest hits.
Titled ‘Welcome to the Black Parade But It’s Master of Puppets By Metallica,’ the song mixes MCR’s ‘Welcome To The Black Parade’ and Metallica’s ‘Master Of Puppets.’ It was uploaded on Monday by YouTube user William Maranci, and has since been viewed over 40,000 times.
With both bands currently on hiatus, fans of each now have something new to listen to. With many stuck at home, including these groups, and source of new material is welcomed. Hopefully My Chemical Romance and Metallica hear the mash-up and a collaboration could come in the future.
