This little one was born just yesterday and brings our giraffe herd to eight! Keepers and veterinary staff are watching over the new addition and will soon provide us with more information, including height, weight and gender. Calf and mom Kala are currently bonding together in their barn and the rest of the herd is being introduced to the little one. It will be a little while before the baby joins the others on exhibit, but we’ll be sure to tell you when it does.
