Nicole Alvarez is our fiery wild child and has been a radio baby her entire life. At 11 she told her parents that she would work in radio when she grew up and never once doubted she would. She has done most of her growing up at KROQ in Los Angeles, from nights to middays, she has hosted exclusive events, befriended listeners with her honest approach and musical insight, and prides herself on in depth interviews with some of the biggest bands and artists in the world, like, the Foo Fighters, Metallica, Linkin Park, Incubus, Panic! At The Disco, Billie Eilish, and more.
Nicole is a world traveler, from running with the bulls in Pamplona, to dressing as the locals do for Oktoberfest in Munich Germany, drinking Mint Juleps at the Kentucky Derby, sky diving, and seeing her favorite artists play iconic venues like an ancient Greek theatre in Taormina, Italy and singing David Bowie songs with a band through the streets of Paris. She is a bohemian free spirit with bite.
Music is the love of her life and she is not one to shy away from a social situation or a cold beer.
