Any time someone from Texas is hosting an out-of-state visitor, usually one of the first places they taken them is Whataburger. The Texas-based fast food chain is beloved in the Lone Star state, and even if outsiders don’t understand the obsession, they quickly learn why the moment they take their first bite. Now, two British YouTubers have gone viral after traveling to Texas to try Whataburger for the first time and their reaction is exactly what many Texans would expect.
Joshua Carrott and Ollie Kendal have a YouTube following of over 3 million on their “Jolly” channel where they try different foods for the first time. In their latest video, the duo travels to a Whataburger location off Oltorf and I-35 in Austin. According to My San Antonio, their order included a Whatasized patty melt, a sweet and spicy bacon burger, a double meat Whataburger, and a Dr. Pepper shake.
Sadly, they didn’t know breakfast was only served from 11 P.M. to 11 A.M., so they returned at night to try the iconic Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit as well. Overall, Josh and Ollie seemed to love almost everything they tried. Maybe these two will find a way to help bring Whataburger overseas one day.
